I find the interaction when tapping through to landscape photos a little disconcerting, I appreciate the zoom but I’d prefer to see the whole photo and be in control of where I want to zoom to myself.
I guess it would also need more of an inset from the top due to the notch if this were the case, although I think I’d like that anyway.
Agreed. Along with my rotate phone for full landscape view suggestion
+1, also can we have single tap zoom out/in? It’s the one thing I find myself missing when navigating with only one finger
One thing that’s helped me with this feature is knowing that the focal point of the zoom is based on the area of the photo that you tap on in the feed. Took me a while to figure that out. At least now I can control what detail I’m about to zoom into before zooming back out again.
Yeah, this seems so backwards to me. The initial state should be the entire photo. Always!
Agreed, this feels terribly awkward. I’d prefer that the image just slide up (don’t zoom) just like vertical portrait aspect ratio images.
Oh yes. This would be great.
Agree. Don’t auto-zoom and avoid the notch. Default should be to honor the photo.
Please always show the whole photo until I choose to zoom in.
I like the zoom but it would be more convenient if scrolling down will show the photo in full landscape view.
Please also make this so that - turn phone landcape makes landscape images full screen. Honestly this is the most maddening, claustraphobic element of your excelent app atm.
