Show names in feed#120

I’d like to be able to see who posted a photo whole scrolling the feed without having to tap or swipe

I feel that this would take the focus off the images themselves. It’s fairly easy to right swipe on an image to get a quick view of the photographer and a few details while still in the feed.

My experience with the feed has been pretty great not knowing who’s posted what right away. I’ve started to develop an eye for specific people’s styles and for those I haven’t, I like the chance to think about the photo on its own merits for a few seconds before I swipe or tap.

I have to say I disagree on this one. Though if it were optional for those that want it that makes sense. I love how the feed is just images, as opposed to instagram where profile names and captions interrupt the feed.

We have no plans to implement this on iOS and iPad, but with the release of our Web version, you can now hover over a photo from the main feed to see the name and caption!
