Focal Lengths#116

We use a variety of cameras, APSC, full-frame, and Medium Format (crop and full), for our work. The app seems to be interpreting the lens focal length based on full-frame multiplier rather than the native format. Is that deliberate? If so would be good to have both, e.g. “Fujifilm APSC 56mm (84mm equivalent)” or something like that.

I agree. I take and have posted pics with an APSC camera (Nikon z50) and a Fill frame camera (z7). Viewers looking at the data can’t tell whether or not the focal length data has been converted into FF equivalence or not.

100% agree. Perhaps in additon to camera model the lens model can be displayed.

We’ve udpated this to show both the actual lens length and the FF equivalent (in parantheses). Thanks so much for this feedback!

When it’s FF the value duplicates in the parentheses!
